Although you can easily create products/services on the fly during invoice creation, you can create and manage them in Flare settings.

Create products and services

To create products or services, do the following:

1. Click the Settings gear icon (1 below) located in Flare’s top right menu, then click  Sales & Invoice > Products and Services (2) in the Settings left menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the Create Product button (3 below). The Enter Product or Service window opens.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter a product or service name (4 below), an optional description (5) and enter a rate (6). The rate can be a unit rate or an hourly rate.
   
   
   
   
4. Select a revenue account (7 above) to which a sale of the product or service will be recorded.
   
   
5. Click Save (8 below).
   
   
   

Edit products and services

To edit products and services, do the following:

1. Click the Settings gear icon (1 below) in Flare’s top right menu and then click Sales & Invoice > Products and Services (2) in the Settings left menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the Product name link (3 below). The Enter Product or Service window opens.
   
   
   
   
3. Edit any aspect of the product or service (4 below) and click the Save button (5).
   
   

Delete a product or service

To delete a product or service:

1. Click the Settings gear icon (1 below) in Flare’s top right menu and then click Sales & Invoice > Products and Services (2) in the Settings left menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Check the checkbox beside the product(s) you wish to delete (3 below) and click the delete icon (4).
