Delete imported bank transactions

Delete imported bank transactions that are unreconciled

To delete imported bank transactions (transactions auto-downloaded in your bank feed or manually imported) do the following:

  1. Click Bank in Flare's main menu (1 below), click the account dropdown menu (2) and click the name of the account (3).

  2. Click the Reconcile button (4 below). The bank reconciliation window opens and displays imported bank transactions on the left and possible Flare account matches on the right. Flare displays unreconciled transactions by default.

  3. Check the checkbox next to imported transactions that you'd like to delete (5 below).

  4. Click the delete icon (6 above).

Imported transactions that have previously been reconciled with Flare bank account transactions must be unmatched before they can be deleted.

To delete a previously reconciled transaction, do the following:

  1. Click Bank in Flare's main menu (1 below), click the account dropdown menu (2) and click the name of the account (3).

  2. Click the Reconcile button (4 below). Flare displays unreconciled transactions by default.

  3. Click the filter search icon, select the Status tab, check Reconciled and click Apply (5-8 below). Find the reconciled transaction you wish to delete from Bank transactions.

  4. Click Unmatch (9 below). The transaction is now unreconciled.

  5. Click the Filter's Status tab and check the Unreconciled checkbox and click Apply (10 below).

  6. Check the checkbox beside it and click the delete icon (11 and 12 below).
