Migration step 3: choose a chart of accounts

Follow

When migrating to Flare other accounting systems, you'll probably want to have the same chart of accounts categories in Flare that existed in your previous system.

Most accounting software provides a method of exporting a chart of accounts - either by exporting the general ledger or by exporting a list of accounts and account numbers. Currently, Flare does not provide a way to import a chart of accounts from other software.

Activate accounts

To activate an account group and all accounts within the group, do the following:

  1. In Flare’s top right menu, click the Settings gear icon (1 below) and then click Chart of Accounts (2) in the Settings left menu.
