Setup step 2: complete your company settings

Learn how to:

  1. Click the Settings icon in Flare's top menu (1 below) and click Company Settings (2) in the Settings left menu.

  2. Upload your company logo.
    Double-click within the white space of dotted rectangle (3 below). A file browser will open. Browse for and select your logo and click Upload (4).

    Supported formats: PNG (recommended), JPEG, and GIF.

  3. Click the Save button (5 below) at the bottom of the Company Settings page after editing any of your company settings.

Company information and address

To complete or update company information, do the following:

  1. Click the Settings icon in Flare's top menu (1 below) and click Company Settings (2) in the Settings left menu.

  2. Complete your company information.

    Enter your company name or DBA (Doing Business As) name (3 below), choose an industry (4), business type (5), organization type (6), your time zone (7), and your company’s email address (8). The company email address is used as the default "From" email address when emailing clients or vendors and is not the same as your login email address which cannot be changed.

  3. Enter/update your company address (9 below).
    The address you enter here will be used on invoices and estimates.

  4. Click the Save button (10 below) at the bottom of the Company Settings page after editing any of your company settings.

Fiscal year

To set your company's fiscal year, do the following:

  1. Click the Settings icon in Flare's top menu (1 below) and click Company Settings (2) in the Settings left menu.

  2. Select your company's fiscal year end month (3 below). Flare calculates the current fiscal year and subsequent fiscal years from the selection you make.

  3. Click Save (4 above) to save all company settings.
 Uncertain what your business's fiscal year is? Contact your accountant or bookkeeper or invite them to use Flare.
